A little about me...
As a young artist right out of high school, I wanted to be an art teacher. I enrolled in art college and one semester later I dropped out to get married and move to WA state. I intended to return to school but as a newlywed couple, we didn't have the funds. I became a jack of all trades the years following, working in retail, food service, banking, bartending, and even getting my cosmetology license. During this time I had also been practicing my skills as an artist and had begun teaching private art lessons and taking on commissioned work.
Fast forward 15 years, my husband and I moved back to the east coast to Brunswick, GA. At this point, my skills as an artist and a businesswoman had taken leaps and bounds and I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue a career as a full-time artist. I currently teach private art lessons and local workshops and am an active member of McIntosh Art Association, Jekyll Island Artists Association, and Glynn Visual Arts.
