Pink Doughnut

Pink Doughnut

Pink Doughnut is the first installment of my series Tasty Treats. Doughnuts are one of my all-time favorite breakfast foods. I stumbled upon this particular doughnut at the grocery store and the beautiful pink frosting and colorful sprinkles caught my eye. I suspected it had been sitting in the bakery cabinet for several hours as it looked a bit stale, but I knew it was for drawing purposes only. As I decided on an arrangement for this composition, I knew having a bite mark in it would create the most interest. So, almost stale, day-old doughnut here I come... Yuck! Let's just say it made a much more appealing piece of art than it did an afternoon snack!

The original drawing of Pink Doughnut was created with colored pencils on 8x10 watercolor paper. This one-of-a-kind piece comes signed by the artist and professionally matted and framed along with a certificate of authenticity.

Giclee prints come in two sizes, 5x7 and 8x10 (original size). These Giclee prints are signed and printed on archival matte paper. All Open Edition Prints are signed by the artist and come with a certificate of authenticity.
