Lollipop no.2
Lollipop no.2 is the fourth edition of the Tasty Treat Series. Originally drawn with colored pencils on 4x6 Lux Archival sanded paper. My thoughts behind this piece were to really capture the texture of the plastic. This particular style of lollipop reminded me of my trips to the bank with my Grandmother when I was a kid. The bank tellers always gave us these pops. Even though this piece is small, it took me several weeks of deep focus to capture the color changes with each turn and twist of the plastic as it played over the colorful candy.
